The Renovation

From the start, the focus of the renovation was to preserve the original character of the home while making necessary updates throughout. Original pine floors were maintained across the home, with the kitchen as the only exception. New drywall was installed throughout, along with fresh interior and exterior paint.

In addition, all windows were replaced and major systems were fully updated, bringing consistency and function to the home while respecting its historic structure.

Foundation & Structure

One of the first steps in the renovation was stabilizing the foundation beneath the rear addition, where shifting had occurred over time. The main structure remained solid, but reinforcing these areas was essential to ensure the long-term integrity of the home.
