Hallways and Stairs
The central staircase was stripped back to its original wood, and the original banisters were preserved and refinished. A half bath was added beneath the stairs, making better use of the space while improving function on the main level.
Upstairs, the layout was reworked to create direct access from the hallway to the rear bedrooms, eliminating the need to pass through other rooms. At the end of the hall, the original back door was sanded and restored, now serving as a defining architectural feature within the interior of the home.
