Windows and Doors

All windows throughout the home were replaced, bringing in consistent natural light while improving overall function. The original interior doors and door jambs were sanded and restored, with some layers of aged paint intentionally left to reflect the history of the home. All exposed surfaces were tested and confirmed to be free of lead.

Originally, the home featured a back door surrounded by windows that mirrored the front entry. When the rear addition was built (1950s?), that doorway became an interior passage connecting the original structure to the newer part of the house. It has been restored and remains one of the most distinctive architectural elements, marking the transition between old and new.
